The Hunger-David Bowie, Catherine Deneuve, and Susan Sarandon
Never before have bloodsuckers (aliens or vampires) been so tantalizingly divine. Plus Bowie really does look delicious on this (as does Sarandon and Deneuve). Stylish and explicit, it'll take your breath away...
Synopsis:
Miriam Blaylock (Deneuve) collects Renaissance art, ancient Egyptian pendants, lovers, and souls. Alive and stylishly well in Manhattan, Miriam is an ageless vampire, although the movie doesn't itself say as such but only hints. A debuting feature by Tony Scott this hip, sensual, and modern gothic make over is a riot. Also acting surprisingly well is David Bowie as fellow fiend and refined husband John. In life, in love, and in longing they are inseparable.
